The best notebook is the one you actually enjoy opening. Size, binding and cover all affect how often you'll reach for it β here's how to choose.
Sizes at a glance
- A5 (about 148 Γ 210 mm) β half of an A4 sheet. Big enough for lecture notes and planning, small enough for any bag. Our most popular size.
- B7 (about 88 Γ 125 mm) β pocket size. Perfect for shopping lists, quick ideas, phone numbers and vocabulary.
- Kids' notebooks β sized for small hands and school bags.
Why spiral binding?
A spiral notebook opens completely flat and can fold back on itself, so you can write comfortably on a small desk, a bus or your lap. Pages can also be torn out neatly when needed.
Notebook or draft book?
Notebooks are for notes you'll keep β class notes, work meetings, journals. Draft books are for rough work: maths workings, brainstorming, practising handwriting or trying out a design. Many students keep one of each so their final notes stay neat.
Keep notes organised
- Number your pages and keep a simple contents list on the first page.
- Use one notebook per subject or project β a fun cover makes each easy to spot.
- Mark important pages with a bookmark or a small sticker.
A small gift that always works
A beautiful notebook is an easy present for students, teachers and colleagues. Pair it with a bookmark set or sticker pack for a thoughtful little bundle.
