Knee and elbow supports provide gentle compression and a feeling of stability during sport, walking, gardening or long days on your feet.
How a support should fit
- Snug, but not tight β you should be able to slide a finger under the edge.
- No numbness, tingling or colour change in your leg, foot, arm or hand.
- For knee supports, centre the opening (if there is one) over the kneecap.
When to wear one
Wear it during the activity that causes discomfort β a game of cricket, a run, housework β and take it off afterwards so your skin can breathe. Don't sleep in a compression support unless a doctor advises it.
Relax afterwards
A handheld 3D massager can feel soothing on tired shoulders, legs and back after a long day. Use light pressure and avoid bony areas, bruises and injuries.
Care
Hand-wash in cool water with mild soap and air-dry flat, out of direct sun, so the fabric keeps its stretch.
